Description of the offer

Content Writers are responsible for using the written word to share information about a client’s products, services, or industry. Their duties include preparing document outlines, updating content based on client edit requests, and proofreading their work for tone, style, clarity, grammar, and formatting.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Writing content for social media clients (all in the legal industry)
  • Meeting deadlines (bonus provided for meeting deadlines twice a month)
  • Keeping project management tools updated.
  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Submit work to editors for input and approval
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed

Requirements

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Excellent writing and editing skills including strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working under pressure and is an excellent team player, communicator, and organized
  • Can understand different tones for different clients and create content based on that. Proper grammar, spelling, and tense usage are essential to master for this position.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work quickly and to agreed daily targets
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be hard-working, well organized, and resilient to changing timelines, requests, and deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • To have some sort of legal knowledge is a plus.
  • Must understand the difference between website content writing, newsletters and press releases.
  • Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) and with an internet connection of at least 10mbps.

Benefits

Salary Rate: $ 4 / hr (20 hours per week)
