Are you a highly motivated and experienced Executive Assistant looking for a new opportunity to join a dynamic and performance-driven team? If so, look no further!

Harry Selvarajan is looking for a talented Executive Assistant to help him and support a portfolio of investments across restaurants and consulting projects.

As his Executive Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Harry, assisting with a variety of tasks and playing a critical role in the success of the portfolio. You will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The key responsibilities will include

1️⃣Quebec Recruitment: Interviews, scheduling with the team on the ground, etc.

2️⃣Admin Management: Ad hoc projects assigned by Harry

3️⃣Financials/Accounting Support: Preparation of dashboards, support on month-end payables process, liaising with vendors, etc.

The primary focus of this role will be to streamline administrative processes and design more efficient workflows across the organisation, enabling Harry to focus on significant business growth.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • Manage emails and calendars
  • Manage daily recruitment trackers
  • Schedule interviews and conduct first-round interviews
  • Update and design dashboards
  • Research solutions for existing problems and work with Harry on implementation plans
  • Report directly to Harry
  • Interact with the Quebec Operations Lead for recruitment initiatives, interview scheduling, and first-round interviews

Harry is dedicated to finding a talented individual who can grow with him and take on more responsibilities over time. This is a unique opportunity to grow with Harry as he expands his portfolio of investments in restaurants and consulting projects. During the onboarding process, Harry will walk you through the French recruitment dashboard and expectations for scheduling interviews, as well as provide training on email and calendar management. If the initial work is successful, you will receive additional training on managing financial dashboards.

Requirements

 

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Recruitment and bookkeeping experience
  • Fluency in French (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Executive Assistant experience, or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of Excel, QuickBooks, and Google Docs (Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • Organised and process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple workflows efficiently
  • Ambitious attitude, with strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams
  • Ability to support the design of more efficient workflows

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with process management software (e.g. Asana) and project management
  • Ability to manage processes with different teams

  • Minimum working hours of 8 am to 12 pm EST
