POSITION OVERVIEW:

As Customer Success Coordinator, you will be tasked with supporting the rapidly growing portfolio of sponsors for Black Women Talk Tech and act as a bridge between the sales team and the rest of the company’s internal and external stakeholders (production, marketing, etc.). You will be focused on building customer loyalty to ensure long-term retention by presenting product information, addressing customer issues and helping the sales team with upsells and renewals. The Customer Success Coordinator ​is expected to build a relationship with each sponsor to ensure their business needs are met and exceeded from the agreement through to the execution of their sponsored activations. This position will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with the entire Black Women Talk Tech Executive Leadership Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage company-wide communication of sponsor deliverables post-close; work with company stakeholders to drive seamless execution of sponsored activations
  • Work with sponsor representatives to close contracts, manage communication of activation progress, changes and status updates
  • Improve sponsor retention through detailed monitoring of deliverable progress and measuring the success of deliverable execution
  • Confirm or refine sponsor objectives with the sales team; create fulfillment reports that connect sponsor objectives to activation outcomes
  • Promote value through white glove customer service
  • Review customer complaints and concerns and seek to improve the customer experience
  • Create compelling sales tools including monthly emails, decks, and proposals as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a demonstrated ability to understand the language of business.
  • High EQ, ‘soft skills’, and strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across an organization and use influence (not authority) to achieve meaningful and measurable results.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and who has a track record executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance.
  • Stellar Project Management skills: highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate needs to be able to plan a successful game plan with realistic deadlines and can spot typos two seconds after receiving a document.
  • Entrepreneurial (experience in a tech startup environment a plus!), action-oriented, and can confidently work independently after clear instructions or a general consensus.
  • Events and conference experience is a plus

REPORTS TO: Head of Sales

LOCATION: Remote

HOURS: 3 months (Apr-June) Part-time (15-20 hrs/week)

Salary: contract – Flat fee commensurate with experience.
