Description of the offer

What your day will look like:

  • Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec’s software solutions, including ability to create small- to medium-sized system designs with their associated BOMs
  • Define product and functional requirements based on customer requirements
  • Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed that helps account sales teams successfully position, sell, deploy and use Genetec solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
  • Ability to cold call identified clients – either within the account or mutual end-user customers
  • Support account in responding to RFx
  • Provide ad hoc consulting on Genetec’s products for cross and upsell opportunities
  • Forecast, manage and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity
  • Issue quotes to assigned territory in North America

Track effectiveness of programs and the associated ROI:

  • Monitor trends and then apply those learnings to improve future programs
  • Work closely with suppliers and various departments for special pricing opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with field reps
  • Research technical information on product requests
  • Update customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking

About you:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales preferably from a technology company
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing
  • Possesses strong troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a minimum of direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders
  • Organized, detailed and process oriented
  • Acumen for understanding of complex technology systems
