About the role

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the business through the development and execution of comprehensive and creative marketing campaigns. These will be primarily aimed at the land, built environment and corporate sectors for whom we provide high-integrity biodiversity solutions. You will work across a variety of campaigns, from strategy inception to implementation, driving incredible brand awareness and lead generation.

You will be a key player within the marketing team, working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation, including the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Brand. As such, we are seeking a strategic thinker with a creative flair and excellent organisational abilities ready to amplify a trailblazing brand in a vital and emergent sector.

Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, taking ownership of end-to-end campaigns and managing budgets effectively.
• Organise and manage a diverse range of events, from online programs to national and international conferences.
• Work with our talented Graphic Designer and Content Writer, pulling on external resources as needed, to create engaging content and collateral for various marketing initiatives, such as case studies, website landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements and brochures.
• Implement digital marketing initiatives, utilizing social media advertising, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing to maximize campaign impact.
• Utilise marketing automation tools and CRM systems to efficiently manage campaigns and analyse their effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion goals.
• Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure the seamless execution of marketing activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and optimize marketing results.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
• Proven experience in B2B marketing role with a focus on event planning advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a creative mindset.
• Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing and SEO.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
• Proactive and results-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and very occasionally weekends, to support event-related activities.
