We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer with a firm understanding of UI/UX principles. This person will be integrally involved in crafting and building creative ads, landing page graphics, and other key visual elements in order to outperform our competition. This person will be on the ground floor of an innovative high-growth digital marketing agency with a strong presence in the automotive industry.

 

The ideal candidate has an extensive portfolio of digital marketing designs, has experience in web content graphics and social media ads and is passionate about visual storytelling. This individual loves to experiment, push boundaries, and explore new ways of approaching problems. Our team LOVES to experiment and challenge conventional thinking, and we want someone that fits that mold. You must provide a portfolio / sample work to be considered.

 

About you:

• Passion for clean, modern, design aesthetics with a clear understanding of balance and negative space.
• A great attitude, collaborative spirit and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
• Experience working with modern digital design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma).
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Strong UX copywriting skills to blend design and content for the ultimate user experience.
• You like working with a collaborative & hard-working team.

 

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Develop best-in-class modern visual designs with a mobile-first approach
• Design engaging and effective product, category and landing pages based on creative briefs
• Create innovative templates that align with customer brand standards and style guides.
• Create Social Media Assets (FB Ads, Display Ads, Instagram Assets) that represents our band extremely well
• Seamlessly blend visual storytelling and branding with UI/UX best practices
• Develop and maintain the website style guide to ensure visual consistency and front-end development efficiency
• Strategically employ typography, imagery and graphic elements that will resonate with end users and drive results.
• Produce impressive design solutions that maintain and enhance our customers’ identity and clearly communicate brand objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions as needed with design, account services, web and sales teams to generate creative and original ideas.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Stay up to date on industry evolution in print, web and mobile environments.
• Apply professional graphic design principles to the creation of print, sales and marketing materials, websites, mobile interface design and other graphic products in all mediums.
• Research and analyze website industry trends and competitor strategies

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• 3 – 5+ years’ experience in creative web, social media and/or display
• Strong marketing storytelling and responsive design skills
• Strong proficiency in design software, including:
• Figma
• Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) along with proficiency in HTML layout
• CSS a big plus, but not required.
• High-Level Understanding of:
• Brand Design
• Typography
• Layout Design
• Color Theory
• Marketing fundamentals
• UI/UX fundamentals
• Ability to provide web ready files to developers
• Has a strong desire to grow with a company and enjoy a fast-paced startup culture (but without having to work a ridiculous amount of hours…we believe in work/life balance)
• Very organized, self-motivated and deadline-oriented attitude.
• (Bonus) Illustration skills
