If you’re passionate about marketing and social media this role is for you. Whether it’s interacting with people on social platforms, mapping out content calendars or researching cultural conversations, the Community Manager plays an integral role in building and executing social media marketing at Zulu.

A solid understanding of social media, creators and the major platforms is critical to success.

This role will coordinate with multiple departments and clients in order to plan and execute always-on and campaign strategy on social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and managing multi-platform social media programs.
  • Generating, editing, publishing and sharing engaging content including original text, photos, videos and news.
  • Interacting with the community, responding to questions and moderating conversations with a consistent brand voice.
  • Collaborating with creative and strategy team members to land on ideas and executions that feel native to the platforms they are published to.
  • Using data and editorial insight to contribute to real time and milestone reporting for campaigns and programs in conjunction with the analytics team.
  • Supporting the optimization of content and advertising for social platforms by educating internal stakeholders on best practices, specs and other considerations as needed.
  • Staying up to date with changes to the platforms and cultural conversations relevant to our clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in community management.
  • Experience launching community initiatives (influencer programs, content marketing series, grassroots programs).
  • Advanced experience with some or all of the major social media publishing tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Falcon.io, etc.).
  • Great communication skills in both written and oral presentations.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
