Freedom Leisure, one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit leisure trusts, is looking for health and wellbeing professional to join its senior leadership team as their new Healthy Communities Lead. Working across 25 local authority areas in England and Wales you will lead local teams and oversee a wide range of programmes to support local communities’ health and wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and improve social value.
In a group-wide role you will create and pilot innovative programmes and services that meet the health and wellbeing needs of the diverse communities we serve, addressing gaps in health inequalities and achieving real and measurable improvements. You will have responsibility for further development and delivery of social prescribing, referral and rehabilitation programmes and develop and deliver initiatives that provide physical and mental health improvements to local communities .
