About the role:  

The Creative Manager at Softheon is a hands-on creator that makes any project they join better for their creative ideas in all stages of the process. Under the VP of Marketing’s guidance, this role will interface with company leadership and help develop and refine our brand identity and creative vision. . This role requires a keen eye for design, a passion for storytelling, and an instinct for brand development. While this position leans heavily into the tactical, creating graphics and producing motion graphics videos, it also creates opportunities to develop strategy and grow one’s career as a creative and marketer.  Our Creative Manager will be the touchstone for all things creative, ensuring that every visual element, from our website graphics to our promotional videos, resonates with our target audiences and advances our brand message. This role collaborates with the marketing, sales, and HR, and product teams, translating business objectives into creative solutions that captivate and convert.

You will: 

Graphic Design 

• Produce high-quality graphic design content for marketing campaigns, website, presentations, and other company collateral.

• Work closely with marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that drive engagement.
• Ensure designs are optimized for different platforms, be it digital or print, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand presence.
• Design and/or update brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Continually refine and develop our brand’s visual voice, ensuring it aligns with company objectives and resonates with our audience.

Video Production 

• Oversee and execute video projects from conceptualization to production.
• Craft compelling stories through video, using a combination of video footage and motion graphics animations.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, or HR teams to produce engaging video content that complements our marketing campaigns.
• Handle post-production editing, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with the brand’s voice and style.

 Collaboration and Process Management 

• Be persuasive about your ideas and recommendations, but remain flexible to incorporate feedback in creative ways. Ask questions to dive deep into feedback and not just take it at face value from non-creatives.
• Build excellent relationships with stakeholders. Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and HR teams to ensure a cohesive visual strategy across all platforms.
• Collaborate with external agencies or freelancers, as needed, ensuring they align with Softheon’s brand and quality standards.
• Manage and report on all design requests, maintaining a capability to anticipate needs for additional resources based on workload.
• Contribute to campaign brainstorming sessions, bringing innovative and fresh ideas to the table.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into our creative identity.

You have:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of relevant working experience
• High Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and video production skills for B2B companies.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and manage external creative partners.
• B2B Technology / SaaS Industry experience preferred

What we offer:

Salary – $85,000 – $115,000
