Oscar Owen Magic is one of the largest education YouTube channels in the world, with over 1.2 million followers who subscribe to learn magic tricks. Riding on the success of our first channel, we are excited to announce the launch of a second channel, focused on YouTube strategy. The aim of the channel is to teach other YouTubers how to build and grow a successful channel – covering topics such as titles, thumbnails, and overall growth strategies.

Role Description

We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced scriptwriter to join us on this new venture. This is a long-term remote opportunity for someone who is passionate about YouTube, well-versed in the intricacies of the platform, and skilled in crafting engaging and informative scripts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing engaging, informative and accurate scripts for long-form videos related YouTube growth, making money online, and building a successful channel. They will work closely with Oscar and the rest of the team to ensure that the videos are informative, entertaining, and visually appealing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a scriptwriter in the entertainment or education industries
• Excellent understanding of the YouTube platform and its audience
• Ability to write scripts that are informative, engaging, and entertaining
• Strong understanding of the mechanics of storytelling and narrative structure
• Demonstrated ability to write content that is researched and based on factual information
• Excellent grammar, spelling, and overall writing skills
• Strong editing skills, with the ability to revise scripts based on feedback
• Experience working in a remote team environment and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
