Are you a talented WordPress enthusiast with a knack for maintaining websites and optimizing them for search engines? If so, we are looking for a Part-Time WordPress Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and updating WordPress websites, ensuring they are up-to-date, visually appealing, and search engine friendly. If you have a passion for web development, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of SEO, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
– Regularly update and maintain WordPress websites, including making changes to verbiage, pictures, text, and other content as needed.
– Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to ensure website content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
– Perform routine website backups and security checks to ensure data integrity and protection.
– Optimize website performance and user experience through plugin management, code optimization, and troubleshooting.
– Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
– Monitor website analytics and generate reports to track key performance metrics.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and SEO trends, tools, and techniques to make proactive recommendations for improvement.
– Provide technical support to team members and clients as needed
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in WordPress website administration and maintenance.
– Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including themes, plugins, and core functionalities.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic PHP for making code adjustments.
– Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Yoast SEO).
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
– Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop or similar) preferred but not required.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
– Experience with Avada website templated is a plus.
– A portfolio or examples of previous WordPress projects is a plus.
