Fōcl Studio is a creative full-service branding agency specialising in the property development and lifestyle industries. Due to continued growth, we have a newly created role for a creative, motivated, Senior Graphic Designer to join our team based in Burleigh Heads.

About the role:

We are seeking an individual who wants to have the ability to create work for a variety of clients, projects, and industries. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for design. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. Previous experience working on real estate / property development projects is highly regarded but not essential.

This is a full-time remote role.

About You:

• Creative, reliable with a broad skill set utilising modern design techniques.
• Ability to project manage your client work. Being highly organised is a necessity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the marketing team
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Create result driven solutions and have a proven track record in executing designs to brief.
• Have a clear understanding and ability to implement creative and marketing strategy in your designs.
• An understanding of social media strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling and result driven designs for a vast range of clients and internal company collateral.
• Working knowledge of UI/UX
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
• Produce and develop marketing material including (social media, EDMs, print, event, product, social campaigns, full branding suite, brochures, websites etc).
• Scope and document the process of your client work.
• Work on platforms such as Klavyio or Mailchimp and develop new creative for EDMs.
• Cutting and uploading of video content for website and social media.
• Liaise and assist in pitching new clients.
• Liaise and manage relationships with videographers, photographers, and web designers.

 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design
• Portfolio of work
• Previous experience of working with web developers
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro and Acrobat
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest)
• Thorough understanding of graphic design trends and best practice
• Demonstrates effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• A high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
• Ability to effectively contribute to brainstorming and other idea generation activities
