Description of the offer

PIC® Corporation is seeking a mid to senior-level graphic designer to join our growing team. This candidate must demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills in order to play a key role in supporting the creative and marketing team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of projects in both print and digital design. Some projects will include package design and editing existing packaging, editorial design, photography, photo editing, video editing, ad design and more. This is a dynamic, collaborative and exciting position in which you can grow, learn and shine.

This role will be based out of our office located in Linden, New Jersey and will report to PIC’s Senior Director of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit and develop fresh and new packaging including for PIC’s family of brands like Bugables and Homeplus, as well as our licensed and private label brands.
  • Create engaging, dynamic content for print and presentations, in which your projects flow into matching content and assets for digital, social media and other partner channels.
  • Basic video editing and motion graphics
  • Product photography, editing, storyboarding. Lifestyle Photography experience is a plus.
  • Manage and update the PIC’s media library of images and digital assets

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications or similar with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Present a strong portfolio that you can speak to and demonstrates your understanding of design fundamentals.
  • Demonstrate excellent visual and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects, keep an organized schedule and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate a passion for design and creativity

 

PROGRAM EXPERIENCE

This candidate should be very comfortable working in the below programs interchangeably on a regular basis:

  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • Premiere Pro or After Effects
  • Powerpoint
  • Excel
  • WordPress experience is a plus
