Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy and technical SEO roadmap to drive traffic and pipeline growth. Define SEO objectives, strategies, and technical requirements, and address content gaps.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and opportunities for both our target audiences and business objectives that drive organic growth and move prospects through the funnel, from awareness to conversion.
  • Identify and lead technical SEO initiatives, including but not limited to site speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, structured data, site architecture, crawling, and indexing.
  • Lead and execute internal and external link-building strategies, driving efforts to strengthen site architecture through effective internal linking while building external backlinks with authoritative, relevant domains.
  • Develop and maintain a SEO Playbook that outlines SEO objectives and processes, best practices, target keywords, and optimization strategies. Train, support and empower partner and stakeholder teams to use and implement the SEO Playbook effectively, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices for web content.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and algorithm changes, updating strategies as needed.
Web Producerand User Experience
  • Oversee strategic vision and daily operations of Azul.com website to ensure a superior user experience across all digital touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement web strategies that improve user experience, increase traffic, and enhance conversion rates, aligned with marketing and campaign objectives.
  • Own and manage the content publishing and maintenance process on the WordPress CMS.
  • Oversee the identification, implementation, and optimization of web forms across the website to support demand generation efforts, ensuring alignment with lead capture strategies. Collaborate with marketing and marketing operations to ensure forms are effectively integrated into campaigns and are optimized for user experience and conversion.
  • Lead projects for new webpage creation or content updates from gathering stakeholder requirements through to completion, ensuring a strategic focus on both SEO and UX throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to optimize website elements, including content, CTAs, on-site banners, and the conversion funnel.
  • Regularly audit web content for accuracy, effectiveness, and technical performance, resolving issues like broken links, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content remains relevant and up to date.
  • Own the troubleshooting and resolution of technical website issues, collaborating with relevant agencies and internal teams to achieve timely solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of website projects, ensuring timely and error-free delivery through effective collaboration with internal teams and agency partners.
Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Manage agency partners on privacy-compliant implementation of site scripts, tags, and cookies through Google Tag Manager, while overseeing the configuration of Google Analytics to ensure accurate tracking of user actions, website performance, and SEO metrics.
  • Continuously monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for website traffic, SEO performance, and user behavior against business goals, providing regular, detailed reports to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to enable ongoing monitoring of SEO and web performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making across teams
  • Use analytical tools to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps, delivering actionable insights to optimize website performance, conversion rates, and organic traffic growth.
  • Regularly meet with relevant stakeholder to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing website performance and measuring the effectiveness digital initiatives, holding oneself accountable for meeting business objectives.

 

Required Skills and Attributes:
  • 5+ years’ experience with SEO; with proven track record of driving organic growth and performance.
  • 2+ years managing full-life cycle web projects, with proven ability to manage an agency development team
  • Strong analytics skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, on page-optimization and content strategies.
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics (GA4 is a plus),GTM, and Tracking/Events
  • Fast learner with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Proven ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative data to develop actionable insights
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of aligning multiple stakeholders to deliver timely and error-free projects
