We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Senior Backend Engineer with extensive experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud technologies to join our team. In this role, you will focus on backend development, supporting both AWS and GCP clouds, and working with Firebase.
Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
– Work with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
– Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including integration and end-to-end testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of our services
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine system architecture, ensuring compatibility with both AWS and GCP cloud platforms
– Utilize serverless frameworks and technologies to create and maintain efficient, cost-effective infrastructure
– Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in backend development and cloud technologies
– Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.js and TypeScript
– Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB
– Extensive knowledge of testing strategies, including integration and end-to-end testing
– Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS and GCP
– Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-haves:
– Experience with serverless frameworks and architectures
– Knowledge of AWS or GCP serverless ecosystems, such as Step Functions
– Experience working with Firebase
– Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and technologies
