This role will involve assisting in business analysis, researching companies, market analysis, and utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
– Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, and market trends to support business decision-making.
– Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
– Prepare comprehensive market analysis reports, including competitor analysis, market segmentation, and potential opportunities.
– Create visually appealing and professional slide decks for presentations, including charts, graphs, and visual representations of data.
– Collaborate with the company owner to develop business strategies and provide input based on research findings.
– Assist in the preparation of business documents, such as business plans, proposals, and strategic reports.
– Coordinate and follow up on assigned projects related to business analysis and research.
– Organize and maintain research files, records, and documents in electronic and physical formats.
– Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
– Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Research Analyst, or in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
– Excellent research skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
– Ability to create visually appealing and professional slide decks using presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote).
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
– Familiarity with market research and analysis tools.
– Experience in conducting industry and competitor analysis.
– Advanced knowledge of Excel functions and formulas for data manipulation and analysis.
– Experience in creating financial models and forecasts.
