We are looking for a Compliance Analyst/Officer to help support the Compliance efforts of the business.

We are looking for an individual with a strong compliance background ideally in the regulated gambling sector in the UK and Ontario markets. You will have at least three years’ experience dealing with Compliance & Regulatory requirements with strong knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, Safer Gambling, ASA/CAP regulations and CMA guidance.

You will help design/train/audit processes and policies.

Essential Functions:

  • Work in direct contact with regulatory, legislative and trade bodies to ensure we are operating in a fully compliant manner with all guidelines and laws.
  • Work closely alongside all internal departments and the Marketing team to ensure advertising, product offerings and promotions comply with all legislations.
  • Review and approve marketing materials, implementing policies and procedures to ensure that our marketing material & business communications are fair, simple and not misleading.
  • Develop Broadway Gaming’s Safer Gambling policies and ensure that all staff are adequately trained our responsibilities and considerations.
  • Review and enhance our policies and procedures in areas such as KYC, AML and EDD.
  • Keep abreast of upcoming regulatory changes and implement any changes to compliance and control processes as a result.
  • Support data protection policies in conjunction with our DPO and ensure compliance across all aspects of the business.
  • Undertake regular internal audits and compliance assessments, provide reports and insights on the effectiveness of compliance programs and risks to the business.
  • Assist with new business development opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions, new jurisdictions, and product & platform innovation.
  • Represent the Compliance team on project delivery and incident management teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a compliance orientated role.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry such as online gaming is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in assessing and analysing internal reports and support audits.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and advertising rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers and subject matter experts.
  • The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment.
  • Effective decision-making skills and strong desire to continually challenge and develop the role.
  • Experience working cross-functionally driving change in a fast paced and dynamic industry in a deadline driven environment.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong understanding of process design and statistical analysis.
  • Able to create training programmes to help build the knowledge within the business.
  • Skilled in the area of project and change management.
