Description of the offer

I am looking for a Conceptual Graphic Designer to help with a variety of creative tasks with existing clients and potential new clients (mostly small to medium sized businesses in a variety of industries from B2C to B2B). This is a remote working, freelance position paid on an hourly or project basis.

The ideal candidate will have:
– Proven branding experience, from conception of a new brand to rebranding something existing, as well as experience with smaller adaptation tasks.
– An out-of-the-box creativity when working on brand identity (logo, colours, look and feel), and the ability to produce a brand book (if required).
– Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience, however your portfolio and your creativity will be evaluated more than the years of experience.
– The ability to work as part of a team and have experience working with a copywriter.
– The ability to create website designs and layouts.
– An understanding of social media for creative concepting.
– A good working knowledge of English at B2 or equivalent, as you will be required to read briefs, answer client questions, and present projects (I will always lead calls).
– Spanish language skills would be a plus, as I am now based in Spain. Italian would also be advantageous but not a must.

Responsibilities:
– Create branding concepts for new and existing clients.
– Develop logo designs, colour palettes, and typography for brands.
– Produce brand books and style guides.
– Create website designs and layouts.
– Develop social media graphics and campaigns.
– Work with copywriters to create marketing materials.
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.

Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience in branding and graphic design.
– Strong portfolio of work.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
– Experience with web design and development.
– Working knowledge of social media platforms.
– Fluent English speaker with a good understanding of Spanish and/or Italian.
