Role details: This is a full time role for 40 contracted hours per week
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum (based on experience and track record)
Location: We are a hybrid team, based throughout the UK. We offer the flexibility to work outside of the UK up to 90 days per year, however you must be able to work and live permanently within the UK, and travel to London every few months for team meeting sessions. #LI-Remote
The role
We are on the lookout for a talented individual with 1.5-3 years’ experience in writing copy and managing social media for B2B/B2C to join us as a full-time Content Marketing Associate.
In this broad position, you will play a key role in ensuring Isla maintains a captivating online voice and brand through strong copy and creative content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement and brand awareness. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will write compelling copy and execute social media content across a broad range of formats — from blogs, articles, interviews to email newsletters, press releases, client pitches, digital campaigns, and social media posts.
Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer and content creator with an eye for detail and a penchant for turning mundane messages into captivating stories. You will be a master at taking complex material and presenting it in a clear, concise and engaging way that’s easy to understand. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent content writing skills, a passion for creativity, familiarity with social media management (especially LinkedIn), strong attention to detail, and tons of enthusiasm and appetite to learn and develop your skills in this role.

What is the hiring process for this role at Isla?
Interviewing with us for the Content Marketing Associate role will be split into 4 stages (all conducted virtually):
1️⃣ A screening interview with our Director of Operations – 20 minutes
2️⃣ A one to one interview with our Director of Marketing – 30 minutes
3️⃣ An interview with some of the Marketing team that includes a practical task – 40 minutes
4️⃣ A final interview with one of our Co-founders – 30 minutes
