We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager (Hybrid) to join the growing Marketing team at one of Atlanta’s Top Places to Work, awarded by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Profisee sees content and copywriting not as a commodity, but as a competitive advantage that can help differentiate us in the marketplace and create and capture demand. We are looking for an energetic and passionate Content Marketing Manager to help tell Profisee’s story to the world.
This person will own Profisee’s content strategy to increase our market awareness and differentiate Profisee in the market. This includes leading the development of annual content themes/topics, content creation (writing/editing/repurposing), curation, and distribution — all with the end goal of creating and capturing demand in the market. Your role will build upon Profisee’s “always-on” content strategy that ensures audience-centric content flows through a mix of channels to optimize engagement and deliver measurable results. We need someone who can work with a team of demand-gen, product, and visual marketers to weave words and messages into a cohesive, compelling narrative that convinces prospects to let us help them solve their biggest data challenges.
Requirements
Your Performance Objectives – What You Will Accomplish
Blog Strategy & Production: Create and execute a blog strategy and annual calendar that aligns with our SEO strategy and supports our annual marketing calendar (inclusive of product launches, campaign initiatives, events, etc.). This means that you ideate, write, repurpose, and work with internal stakeholders to produce compelling, unique, and differentiated blog content.
SEO Management & Execution: Oversee an agency that consults on backlinks and on-page SEO to maintain and improve Profisee’s SERP position and organic traffic to the website. This means SEO best practices are ingrained in your writing and you can understand the levers to pull to improve Profisee’s search rankings and web traffic.
Copywriting for Advertising: Deliver creative, compelling, differentiated short form across our advertising ecosystem to drive market awareness and channel engagement for paid media campaigns. This means you understand the writing differences in email, landing pages, and social media advertising and can deliver punchy headlines that persuade, convince, and convert.
Short- and long-form Content Writing: Leverage internal and external stakeholders to create, write and repurpose content across the buyer’s journey. This means you support the annual marketing calendar, buyer enablement, and other marketing strategies through both short-form (blogs, organic social posts) and long-form (guides, buyer enablement) content.
Content Repurposing: Ideate and execute creative and unique ways to repurpose our existing content for use in various formats across different channels and marketing media.
Competencies – What We Are Looking For
Strong writing, editing and communication skills with an ability to simplify messaging and use structure to tell a compelling and engaging story.
Process- and deadline-driven marketer who can seamlessly manage projects from conception to completion without compromising your creativity.
A fast learner who can pick up new tools and concepts quickly.
Team player. You will work with lots of different people to make your creativity come to life across digital channels. Collaboration, communication, being easy to work with and laughter are key.
You get stuff done. Strategy without execution is just an idea. You deliver results, not reasons — and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and “doing the work yourself” when/where needed. You own your work, start to finish, but aren’t afraid to ask for help when you need it.
