Copywriter

Alchemy Worx is an award-winning, audience management agency specializing in email, SMS, and paid social marketing for clients ranging from the Fortune 500 to local market players. The agency offers advanced marketing services, utilizing both time-tested and emerging methods and technologies to secure a higher rate of customer engagement and retention.

We are seeking an experienced Copywriter with 5 years of professional experience in short form copywriting. You will be responsible for creating captivating email campaigns that resonate with target audiences for a portfolio of clients. Your exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to craft persuasive messages will help our clients achieve their business goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Craft creative briefs that succinctly communicate the key points for each email campaign
• Write compelling subject lines that grab attention and drive open rates.
• Create clear and concise calls-to-action (CTAs) that encourage click-through rates and conversions.
• Optimize email content for readability, ensuring that it is visually appealing and mobile-friendly.
• Keep up to date on available external research to understand our clients’ audiences, their needs, and pain points, and incorporate those insights into email copy.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in email marketing and short form copywriting.
• Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns to improve performance and optimize copy and design elements.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Email Copywriter or similar role, with a focus on short form copywriting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on crafting clear, concise, and persuasive copy.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective email campaigns that drive open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including knowledge of industry benchmarks and trends.
• Proficiency in using email marketing platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and understanding data to drive improvements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit copy for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• A portfolio of previous email copywriting work demonstrating creativity, versatility, and results.
• Knowledge of Slack, Zoom, Google Docs, and Figma helpful
• Experience working with team members in multiple time zones around the world helpful
