Cypress UI Test Automation Developer

49 Solutions is searching for a Cypress UI Test Automation Developer apply for a Request for Proposal with Farm Credit Canada. If successful the resource will work on contract. Term: 2024/05/01 – 2025/04/30

Description of duties:

• As a member of the AgExpert Development Team, you’ll participate in using Cypress to document and automate regressive test cases.
• You’ll be testing AgExpert’s cloud based commercially available software: AgExpert Field and AgExpert Accounting.

• University Degree specifically in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience leading or assisting with the automation of UI tests for a data entry Web application using Cypress.
• Ideating and coding test scenarios, monitoring test execution, managing pipeline.
• What was the purpose of the system (ex: time tracking, hotel reservation, online store, etc) where the candidate helped automate UI tests?
• Which single job in the resume best reflects this experience?

Nice to have:

• Manual exploratory testing experience
• Understanding of basic relational database design
• Experience with mobile automated UI testing of native iOS and/or Android apps
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team
• Experience using Microsoft Dev Ops to track work
