We are currently looking for Freelance Norwegian Social Media Insights Analysts to support our Strategy & Insights team with the delivery of specific social insights reports in multiple languages across a variety of projects.

As a Freelance Insights Analyst, you’d be collaborating with our team for the creation and on-time delivery of high quality social media reports (including monthly, quarterly, campaign, competitor analysis and crisis) and offering advice and recommendations based on social media data.

This is a fully remote and freelance based on project work.

Is this you? 

You’re a proven and well versed Social Insights & Data analyst who has produced social media performance reports on behalf of brands. You are an absolute whizz when it comes to platforms such as Sprinklr and Brandwatch and are able to digest key insights and data into understandable analytics with strategic recommendations.

What You’ll Do 

As a Freelance Social Media Analyst you will be supporting the Social Insights Team to ensure effective delivery of social media performance reports on client projects.

  • Deliver social media insight reports: This can range from competitor analysis, social media campaign performance, audience analysis, content audits, consumer, social trends, and brand research reports.
  • Provide strategic and actionable recommendations on how The Social Element’s clients can improve their social media activity.
  • Setup of social media listening tool and dashboards, including optimisation of social media data searches and queries.
  • Build complex boolean strings to differentiate meaningful online conversations, from noise.
  • Tell stories with data, and summarise what is important to our clients.
  • Deliver insights presentations on social media results along with providing actionabile insights for our clients.
  • Interpret data into non-technical language for non-insights specialists and deliver social media analytics with recommendations
  • Collaborate with Strategy & Insights team in providing ideas and solutions for different client challenges
  • Respond in a timely way to ad-hoc requests, and offer guidance to our internal teams and clients as a knowledge expert
  • Identify innovative ways to present Insights using new technology or methods, always striving to answer the ‘so what?’ question on every project

Requirements

About You 

  • Proven record of providing efficient delivery of insights and research in social
  • Solid experience in using and setting up social listening tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Audiense, etc and creating and optimising social listening boolean queries.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, including setting and tracking KPIs to help brands make decisions
  • Experience in delivering social media reports , including chart building and data visualisation using Google Slides, Google Sheets, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Be great at creating visually compelling social media reports that use data to tell a story
  • Native level of any of the following languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Arabic, Ukranian, Russian, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish.
  • Experience of social performance, campaign evaluations and competitor analysis reporting.
  • Passion for social media: whether you’re an active user of Twitter, TikTok or neither, we want you to be aware of emerging trends around platforms and best practice for brands posting on them
  • Strong writing skills, ability to tell a story with social media data
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines and deliverables
  • Native level of any of the following languages above

IT Policy

We operate a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policy which means to carry out this work, your PC will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Operating system Windows 10 64bits or higher / MAC OS X version 10.15 (Catalina) or higher. We do not support Windows 8 or older / MacOS Mojave or older.
  • i5 7th generation or faster 64-bit (x64) processor
  • At least 8GB RAM Internet speed is 10Mbps download / 1Mbps upload (40Mbps download / 2Mbps upload is recommended)
  • 40 GB available HDD (SSD is recommended)
  • A Webcam and headset (used for internal purposes)
  • Android or iOS device for 2FA
  • Chromebook & Linux not compatible
