As we continue to grow, we are in search of a Freelance Social Ops Coordinator to join our talented team and help shape the future of digital content.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Freelance Social Ops Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for several owned and operated Facebook & Snapchat accounts. The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate viewer of digital media looking to gain experience in programming strategy and audience development, with a particular interest in vertical video platforms. A successful candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, can manage multiple projects thoughtfully, communicate effectively, and ensure deadlines are met.

This role will be functioning in a remote capacity with a Los Angeles based team, and report into the FB Strategy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day publishing operations of multiple Facebook pages and Snapchat accounts, including but not limited to video uploading, optimization, keyword research, and scheduling.
  • Operate cross-functionally with creative and production teams to execute on content for distribution.
  • Review daily performance of content & communicate of performance correction recommendations to SVP of Strategy.
  • Assist the FB Strategy Manager, and Snapchat Lead on regular performance reporting and presentation of said reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Assist the FB Strategy Manager, and Snapchat Lead in developing performance testing plans for video cuts, metadata and similar elements; and lead the implementation of these plans on platform.
  • Support library optimization projects, ensuring back library content is optimized to current channel standards and project timelines are met.
  • Manage final quality control checks of all assets.
  • Track and communicate platform trends and opportunities to the Strategy team.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Uphold Electric Monster’s ethics and values while performing duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of channel management experience for an established Creator, agency, MCN or similar media publishing company.
  • Working knowledge of Meta SEO and optimization best practices is a plus.
  • Experience working with Meta Creator Studio and Business Suite tools is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, and can easily pick up on other project management software utilized by the team e.g. Airtable, Monday, etc
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, administrative skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding time management skills, including the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.
