SEARCH is seeking a full-time salaried Human Resources Manager to support its employees and the HR team as continue growth as a company with an established history/reputation serving the Cultural Resources Management industry. This position will ideally be based out of one of our offices (Orlando, FL preferred) or report remotely based on distance/preference.

The Human Resources Manager will have primary responsibilities to execute a training and development strategy for the organization and serve as the primary employee relations manager for managers and professionals working in corporate and field archeology services worldwide. The position will also occasionally support other Sectors as needed. The ideal candidate must also possess excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

This is a full-time salaried position that may be either be remote or office-based, depending on the candidate’s location and preference. Essential Duties and Functions
Training and Development

  • Develop an overall training strategy to deliver technical and management development training for the organization of 300 employees.
  • Design the training and development processes to utilize internal technical expertise and external management development resources.
  • Facilitate the sourcing of external vendors specializing in digital platforms for distributed learning.
  • Design and plan execution of an enhanced onboarding process.
  • Develop a system to monitor and maintain metrics for training and development completion and knowledge development.

Employee Relations

  • Execute ongoing employee relations services for the field management and team members in conflict resolution, team coaching, disciplinary processes, and policy and procedure execution.
  • Provide coaching and consultation as needed for disciplinary actions and workplace investigations and provide recommendations to HR leader for needed legal support on complex issues.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication processes to support management in execution of correct employee relations policies.
  • Refine the employee performance evaluation system and educate managers and employees in full utilization of the system.

Other Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Act as key member of the HR Team in providing leadership and consultation in new concepts and improved execution of HR services for the organization.
  • Serve as additional resource for recruitment and hiring corporate and leadership positions as assigned.
  • Maintain continued education in HR trends and external HR services on ongoing basis

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Human Resources with specialized experience in Training and Development and Employee Relations responsibilities.
  • Experience in facilitation of training and development strategy and sourcing of external sources of digital platforms for distributed learning.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, and government compliance laws in a multi-state organization.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent service focus in providing employees with educated counsel and coaching while communicating with empathy and sound judgement and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate internal and external partnerships to facilitate timelines and a high level of work quality.
  • Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Enhanced abilities in leadership and collaboration skills with internal HR team members and external vendor partners.
  • Ability to interface and communicate professionally and respectfully with a highly specialized workforce.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Based in Orland, FL and able to report to the office.
  • Experience working in a company with multiple employees spread across the United States/world.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in HR with a number of years reflecting supervisor level responsibilities.
  • Experience with Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
  • Experience with recruiting in a fast paced field.
  • Knowledge of Cultural Resource Management industry.

  • This position may be based out of any SEARCH offices or may be remote.
