Junior SEO Specialist (Panama)

Mod Op is seeking a skilled junior SEO specialist who has previous direct experience in the SEO marketing arena. This opportunity is for an individual who would like to make SEO their career path.

Success in this role will be determined by your ability to contribute energy, attention to detail, a passion for learning and a natural curiosity.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day SEO projects and optimization to achieve client goals, including:

• Hands-on management of on-page SEO, including content optimization, meta-data optimization, and site architecture formulation and build out.
• Write, edit, and optimize existing and new content, including blogs, product descriptions, landing page content and similar, to drive rankings and traffic.
• Gather, classify, organize, and manage keywords through various tools and techniques.
• Ensure website pages are properly indexed in or excluded from search engines via manual- and tool-based approaches.
• Develop and implement link acquisition strategies from a wide range of sources using outreach, content syndication, digital asset development, paid etc.
• Conduct research via tools such as Screaming Fog, Ahrefs, and SEM Rush.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators
• Keep current with the newest SEO strategies, techniques, and best practices.
• Work across departments with other team members from media, UX and development departments

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
• At least 1-year work experience in SEO
• A collaborative, hardworking individual who likes to collaborate with others and share ideas.
• Willingness to continue training with marketing and SEO-related training courses.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with a keen attention to detail at all stages
• Proficient writing skills
• Strong English written and verbal skills
• A great attitude, natural curiosity, resourcefulness, intelligence, and work ethic
• Desire to contribute to the creative and collaborative culture of the agency

Preferred

• Be versed in internet technologies and applications used within SEO/digital
• Have a good working knowledge of internet marketing concepts and strategies
• Basic coding language and website CMS knowledge.
• WordPress experience
