The Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the communications, social media, and commercial marketing teams across various channels (e.g., events, traditional media outlets, digital advertising, and social media sites) in service of driving the next wave of growth in our Consumer and Commercial businesses. The Oura Commercial team is responsible for growth within Partnerships, Corporate Sales, Healthcare, and the Military.

 

This is a remote role, but the candidate must be based in the United States.

We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

 

What you will do:

  • Social media community management – proactive and reactive engagement with followers, analytics, and social listening.
  • Influencer relations – Vet inbound requests from influencers and respond accordingly.
  • Public relations – PR lead for cross-functional marketing campaigns related to cultural moments (e.g., Father’s Day). Drive creative concepts in service of earning press coverage around key holidays and moments relevant to Oura.
  • Events
    • Maintain the Oura event tracker
    • Manage logistics for event participation (e.g., booth, marketing assets, communication with event organizer)
    • Partner closely with Commercial Marketing to support demand generation strategies and content needed for booth activation, etc
  • Project management – Draft workback plans and ensure that team members are aware of their deliverables, including when they are due, for campaigns and events.
  • Reporting – Creating quarterly and annual reports for social media and commercial marketing that capture lessons learned and opportunities for future growth.
  • Budget – Managing the team’s budget, including creating POs and reconciling the budget with finance.

 

Requirements

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1: $103,500-$115,000
  • Region 2: $98,000-$109,000
  • Region 3: $93,000-$103,500
