Description of the offer

MI & Reporting Analyst

Who are we and why do we do what we do?

We are a data and payments company on a mission! We’re a group of developers, financial experts, and optimists who share a vision for improving the financial wellness of people, their businesses, and their communities.

We started this company with the aim of changing how the industry used and viewed data. As architects of Open Banking, Open Finance, and Open Data, we strive to be a force for good — changing the status quo of how businesses interact with people. We strive to serve the whole population through every change in their finances.

We do this by powering businesses through our APIs and white label solutions as well as our own personal financial management app for consumers.

We can only do that by being an inclusive and diverse organisation. We invest in our people, and enjoy an environment focused on innovation, collaboration and openness.

What do we offer?

We champion flexibility, and we trust and respect our employees to deliver results in a way that best suits them, working around their own lives and commitments.

We live and breathe a fantastic culture of remote working and you will perform your duties predominantly from your home. However, the heart of Moneyhub is in Bristol and from time to time you will be required to attend company meet ups

As well as a truly flexible approach, we also offer a fantastic range of benefits, including

• 10% contribution towards your Pension from your very first day with us

• 25 days of holiday (plus bank hols), rising to 30 days after two years

• Choose to take your entitlement to UK bank holidays at other times based on your own days of significance

• Private medical insurance, including cover for pre-existing conditions, plus dental and optical benefit

• Six week Moneyhubber Family Pay when you become a new parent

• Permanent health insurance and life cover (death in service)

• Employee assistance programme

• Professional development support

• Life event leave

Sounds great right? What will you be doing?

As we continue to expand and enhance our services, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Management Information and Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team.

As a Management Information and Reporting Analyst at Moneyhub, you will play a crucial role in optimizing data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining management information reports and dashboards to facilitate strategic planning, performance analysis, and operational efficiency. Your expertise in data analysis and reporting will help various departments make informed decisions, enabling us to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving financial technology industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and reporting needs across the organization.
  • Design and develop robust management information reports, dashboards, and visualizations using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Gather and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide timely and accurate ad hoc reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve data integration and data quality processes.
  • Implement data governance best practices to ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, data visualization, and analytics capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and provide insights
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying data and building reports
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Benefits

At Moneyhub, we are dedicated to transforming the way people manage their finances, and the Business Development Representative plays a critical role in driving this mission forward. If you are excited about the opportunity to shape the future of fintech and be part of a collaborative team, we encourage you to apply and join our journey towards financial empowerment.

Location

We embrace flexible working, including remote working on UK-hours (and can help with the cost of setting up your home office if needed). If you prefer to come in sometimes, we have an office in the centre of Bristol (with all of the usual facilities). We get together in person once a quarter – either at HQ in Bristol or elsewhere – and we expect all team members to join us for these sessions unless there are exceptional circumstances.

All About You

We want to create a working environment where people from all backgrounds and experiences can come together to generate new ideas, strive for innovation and build a culture that’s collaborative, agile and nurturing for all. We therefore ask when you apply for this role to tell us about you and how your background and experience will help Moneyhub to be the best business it can be.

Perhaps you come from a traditionally underrepresented group (such as age range, ethnicity, cultural background and experience, disability, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, neurodiversity) and would like to work in an environment that strives to offer you a level playing field

Maybe you have an unusual life story, a topsy-turvy career path or a unique way of being and thinking that means you bring something different to a team

You might be incredibly passionate about what you do and how you do it, and want to bring that passion to Moneyhub.

Whatever it is that makes you *you*, we want to hear about it, and we have a question on the application form for this role where you can tell us more.
