Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelancer – a Mobile Product (UX/UI) Designer with a strong background to contribute to the MVP stage of our fintech product and create a modern, functional and seamless app design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own product design from scratch.
- Craft visually appealing UI that aligns with tapp’s brand identity and values.
- Understand and analyze business objectives to make well-informed UX decisions.
- Conduct user research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Create interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
- Ensure responsiveness of designs across different devices and platforms.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure feasibility and alignment with technical constraints and later bring designs from concept to implementation.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in designing user interfaces for fintech or related mobile products from scratch.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in design and agile tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with prototyping tools and a solid understanding of front-end development principles.
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about user interactions.
- Early stage startup experience is a plus.
- Passion for Social Impact: In alignment with tapp’s mission of promoting social welfare and leveraging technology to improve the livelihoods of those dependent on tips.
- Strong command of the English language – Arabic is a plus but not a necessity…
