Why this role exists

We are looking for an Outbound Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be helping manage the day-to-day operations of the outbound sales team, focusing on lead generation and closing new business deals.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to generate leads and close new business deals.
  • Develop and implement B2B outbound sales plans based on provided goals.

2. Sales Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the outbound sales team, setting sales goals and KPIs, and providing coaching and support to help team members achieve their targets.
  • Develop outbound sales team, including recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
  • Maintain outbound sales team job results by training, counseling, and disciplining employees
  • .Plan, monitor and appraise outbound sales job results.

3. Sales Operations:

  • Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand in the outbound market.
  • Complete outbound sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees following up on work results.
  • Create weekly, quarterly, and annual outbound sales reports that track progress towards goals.

4. Professional Development:

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years leading a full sales cycle Outbound sales team
  • 5+ years of B2B outbound sales experience for organizations in the US & Canada.
  • B2B Sales experience targeted towards small to medium size businesses is a must
  • Proven outbound sales management track record of hiring, training, coaching, and motivating a sales team.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of SPIN and Challenger methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience managing all aspects of the outbound sales process and driving accountability through pipeline management.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions, understand funnel metrics, and forecast team pipelines & targets.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
