What We are Looking For:We’re looking for someone to help us in creating and maintaining a database, data lake, and data warehouse as well as transforming our data into models that can be more easily consumed for reporting and data analytics. You’ve created data warehouses before and understand how to take source data and transform it into a format useful for numerous queries, searches, and historical trends. You enjoy being proactive rather than reactive.

• Experience working and collaborating with others, both technical and non-technical personnel
• Comfort communicating to business stakeholders and constructing documentation

What You Will Do:The Data Engineer at Anvl will own the data architecture and ETL processes used for reporting and analytics, creating it by using your own designs and ideas. You will work with the Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to ensure we’re taking the best approach in building the data structures towards a future of expanded analytics and reporting capabilities, ML/AI, and more. • 3+ years experience as a Data Engineer, including building and maintaining data warehouses
• 3+ years experience with data modeling
• 3+ years experience creating and maintaining ETL processes
• 3+ years experience with database platforms (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with Python (ideally pandas library experience)
• Experience with noSQL database products, ideally DynamoDB
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with AWS
• Obsessive attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of excellence
• A growth mindset and willingness to go the extra mile for the team’s success
• History of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and coworkers
