Lead change and influence strategy with a team that thrives on innovation and is constantly pushing boundaries. As a Design Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape by spearheading strategic initiatives for the design of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in agency, SaaS and startup technology brands and will have a proven track-record of measurable impact.

 

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy

• Work with clients and the team on defining and achieving product goals through roadmapping, discovery workshops and design thinking sessions
• Drive the company’s creative portfolio vision and work with the innovation team lead and team members to enhance the process of delivery of projects across accounts
• Support with the creation of an academy course centered on digital product development, actively contributing to its evolution, and leading sessions.

 

Product Leadership

• Assist with the recruitment of new product designers and innovation team members
• Train designers on best practices for delivering design projects across the agency
• Be the face of the company on social media and have bold opinions on digital products
• Manage client meetings, weekly demos and maintain the team project management board
• Manage team resources, ensure projects are on time and on budget
• Internal and external project reporting

 

Product Design

• Stay in touch with the latest trends in the industry and provide insights on how to position the agency for new changes and opportunities
• Promote a spirit of design innovation within the team, push creativity and challenge the quality of product design
• Collaborate with internal and external development teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly
• Deliver validated product solutions and detailed design systems

 

What You Bring

• Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude with the ability to work remote and perform based on KPIs
• A strong design portfolio that shows design collaboration with knowledge of Figma, design
• systems, auto layout, etc.
• Working knowledge of web technologies and design software
• Clear communication skills and scheduling across multiple projects
• Expert in all areas of user experience design (information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototype engineering, content, user experience)
• A high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability
• The ability to present design ideas with clarity and passion, and to receive feedback with open-mindedness
