Position Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a creative, highly motivated, results-oriented Sr. Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you’ll use your strategic prowess and creative vision to enhance brand awareness and drive new customer growth. Responsibilities include developing, planning, and executing GTM strategies, and marketing programs in line with global business objectives to increase sales and grow market share, while improving profitability. With each project, you’ll play a key role in Zenni’s success in transforming the eyewear industry. This role requires strong leadership, communication, creativity, and analytical skills.

What we want you to own in this role:

  • Develop go to market strategies and executional plans for new product launches and existing product categories.
  • Develop and own a global marketing calendar, strategizing the content plan for the year, including integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Drive launch strategy development process, including timelines. Lead all cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time with all the necessary level of detail and effectively communicated to leadership.
  • Leverage consumer driven insights to assess growth and brand-building opportunities that are currently untapped.
  • Constantly work to clarify, articulate, and execute creative product marketing programs that create breakthrough consumer communications in all touchpoints.
  • Lead projects that create demand for our products, enhance brand awareness, and drive consumer advocacy—all while upholding a smooth, integrated process—with a focus on developing customer centric, sales-generating quick strike media content ideas.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive the strategic development, planning, and execution of product marketing campaigns and integrated marketing programs—with a focus on new product launches, revitalizing existing products, and new frame curations.
  • Provide input to organization on product marketing priorities, tailor project briefs, provide input to channel marketing plans, and where applicable provide creative input.
  • Partner with the creative director and copy team to bring to life brand message and product stories across all consumer touchpoints to ensure seamless omnichannel messaging to the consumer.
  • Support development of ongoing Performance Recaps/reviews that track performance for top launches, and existing product categories; including sales performance, advertising, etc.
  • Juggle multiple critical, time-sensitive, and high-visibility projects
  • Establish and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with internal partners
  • Identify and understand core customers for your own projects.

What skills do you need?

  • 6+ years of integrated product/brand marketing experience
  • E-commerce, Retail and/or CPG
  • Experience working with in-house creative teams
  • A confident, curious leader, builder, and mentor (not to mention an organizational powerhouse)
  • Equipped with effective project management and communication skills; you hold high standards for operational excellence: budgets, calendars, timelines, and efficiencies
  • A highly creative and non-traditional thinker who is not afraid to question the status quo and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Able to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams and functions, articulating your vision that inspires colleagues and customers alike
  • Passionate about the Zenni brand and committed to the spirit and intent of the company’s core values
  • Appreciative of culture, communities, and consumers—you seek to understand what inspires and drives them
  • You are comfortable working in ambiguous spaces and figuring out how to move forward when there isn’t an existing path
  • You are obsessed with the consumer
  • Ability to bring creative ideas to life with strong storytelling
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing, or relevant field

As of 01/01/2023, the expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
