Senior Software Developer – Email Editor

Sinch is hiring a Senior Software Developer to join our Email Editor team.

We are looking for someone capable of working on the frontend and backend.

The team’s missions are to run this product in multiple applications, develop new features and continue to scale our applications for a global market. Our ideal candidate is a software engineer with a passion for mentoring other developers technically and developing end-to-end software at scale!

Les objectifs de cette équipe est l’exécution de ce produit sur différents logiciels, le développement de nouvelles fonctionnalités et la mise à l’échelle continue de nos applications dans un marché global grandissant. Notre candidat(e) idéal(e) est un(e) ingénieur(e) en informatique motivé(e) par l’idée d’encadrer et d’accompagner techniquement d’autres développeurs, et par le développement de logiciels scalables de bout en bout!

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in developer tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) systems;
• Possess knowledge of professional software engineering practices & standard methodologies for the full software development process;
• Guide processes and tooling for application monitoring, instrumentation, and user interaction metrics to help drive technical decisions around the maintenance and scaling of existing solutions;
• Advocate for good design and be an inspiring leader with a desire to reduce technical debt by writing clean, simple code and develop critical services and documentation;
• Make design decisions and technology recommendations, as both a player and a coach, to satisfy business requirements based on the product roadmap/vision and satisfy tactical, operational, and strategic needs;
• Be able to quickly comprehend how their piece fits into the larger puzzle;
• Adapt communication style to fit technical and non technical teams;
• Write technical stories and prototype solutions to settle feasibility and provide an outline to other developers for success criteria;
• Dedicating to encouraging others as a mentor, and the ability to establish and sell both the business and technical vision for complex problems.

• 5+ years practical software development experience in building large-scale distributed web-based applications;
• Proficient in React and a backend language preferably Go;
• Experience building RESTful web services and delivering solutions through a CI/CD pipeline;
• Good understanding of ELK stack;
• Good knowledge of security vulnerabilities.

Preferred

• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js;
• Proficient in Go;
• Experience with Grafana;
• Strong Experience with SQL databases.
