Senior Tax Accountant

This is a remote position, employer based in Great Neck, NY

We are looking for:

• Full-Time Senior Tax Accountant (not a contractor)
• Up to 95K annual Salary plus PTO
• MUST MUST have at least 3+ of tax preparation experience
• CPA or EA preferred but NOT required, Experience says it all
• Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Accounting or Tax
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (if you do not have this, do not apply)
• Ability to work independently with clients

ROLE:

Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns as well as utilizing tax strategies and tax planning for our clients. You will be connecting with business owners across the country. Many of these meetings will be over zoom. We have clients all over the USA that you will be working with and helping them ascend up our value ladder and save money on taxes. Our services are designed to get our customer’s tax savings.

This is an optional role for either remote or in-office if you are local to New York City. We have very clear expectations so you will know where you stand at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the review of returns prepared by junior accountants
• Prepare corporate, partnership, and personal tax returns
• Prepare tax plans for new & existing clients utilizing customized tax strategies using our advanced tax planning software
• Helping clients maximize tax savings by building relationships with them and using proactive tax strategies
• Assist clients with the implementation of tax & wealth-building strategies
• Preparation and filing of quarterly estimated tax payments
• Review the FS and propose AJE necessary for tax
