We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior UI Designer to join our brand-new Malta based studio!

A Senior UI Designer At ES Malta:

• Works with all production teams to concept, prototype and produce UI for our games.
• Collaborates with the client from concept to completion, ensuring that the vision is maintained across the whole project lifetime.
• Integrates and produce functional user interface.
• Champions user experience through thoughtful design and iteration.
• Achieves milestone goals and flag production risks early.
• Produces well thought-out and professional documentation to showcase work.
• Works closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth implementation, uphold the design vision and maintain quality throughout.
• Explores new techniques and technologies to achieve the best possible results.
• Proactively assists in defining art pipelines and best practices against industry benchmarks.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years industry experience in a similar position.
• Strong understanding of usability principles and base graphic design; typography, iconography, composition, clarity, layout, usability, motion design and a keen eye for colour.
• Current knowledge of UI prototyping utilising Adobe suit or similar to convey/interpret concepts and ideas.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to implement UI solutions in Unreal and/or Unity is preferable.
• Clear communication, interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Awareness of user interface patterns and design standards, ability to design for various audiences.
• Self-motivated and driven, with solid time management.
• Demonstrable appreciation of UI conventions and challenges for console platforms.
• Experience working within a team delivering work on time and to a very high standard.
• User experience and prototyping experience.
• 3D modelling experience.
• Agile development practices working within the scrum framework.
• Experience using other Adobe tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Base Package
