SEO Project Manager (Panama)

The SEO Project Manager has a critical role in ensuring that the SEO team functions efficiently and effectively to deliver against client objectives. The responsibilities are diverse and require the candidate to be detail-oriented, organized, flexible and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility is to plan, assign and manage SEO project work flow and deadline commitments. This involves aspects of budget management and resourcing, interfacing with other teams and keeping documents current with pertinent information. In addition you will have a role in creating and proofing client presentations, audits, and monthly reports that will . require you to have a good understanding of SEO principles and the ability to explain them to clients simply, as needed. In addition, this role includes some elementary SEO implementation providing an opportunity for the right candidate to add new skills to their experience or use already developed ones.

As the SEO Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and assigning tasks to the SEO team, in coordination with other agency teams
• Interfacing with other internal departments representing the SEO team
• Coordinating and assigning all tasks for each SEO team member to align with the project plan
• Ensuring project deadlines and resourcing commitments are met
• Setting up client billing and resources through agency software – Open Air and Netsuite
• Managing project changes and communicating new deliverables
• Assisting with creation and proofing of new business pitches, client presentations, audits, and monthly reports.
• Documenting client meetings and publishing meeting re-caps/ action items on Confluence.
• Managing and monitoring Jira tickets during project sprints for development projects involving the SEO Team
• Creating and populating a Confluence page and AirTable document for every SEO client/project.
• Following up on client deliverables daily and weekly
• Organizing client projects and assisting in triaging workflow with other departments (SOW, Client Docs, etc.).
• Assisting with light keyword research and other elementary SEO tasks.
• Managing link building outreach, communication, billing, and invoicing.
• Gathering/researching data to aid wider audit, discovery, and strategy initiatives.

• Candidates must be based in Panamá. No foreigners, just PE.
• Fluent English – Both written and spoken
• BA degree in marketing, business or other quantitative or analytical related fields, or experience equivalent, preferably in marketing, business or any quantitative or analytical related fields.
• 3 years’ experience in project management
• Experience with SEO software such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush and AHRefs desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills working within Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, as well as account managers and clients.
• Experience working with Confluence, Jira, NetSuite a plus
• Attention to detail
