Brand new opportunity in 2023 for a passionate Social Media Executive to work with one of the world’s leading live entertainment and content companies, creating and producing global events and travel experiences in both mainstream and niche genres.
Their portfolio includes several internationally based, large-scale festivals, alongside a multitude of UK-based events.
The pioneering events incorporate the highest production values for the biggest global artists as well as providing a platform for new talent.Working in music and events is fast-paced, challenging and rewarding.
The Role
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for content curation, assist with the maintenance of the Social Media channels, and digital planning, in support of the marketing arm of the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Curate content for social media platforms.
- Assist with the development of the content calendar.
- Influencer research.
- Assist with the development and planning for on-site content.
- Monitor brand presence on socials and deliver weekly social reports.
- Remain current on latest industry and cultural news.
- Assists the marketing team with larger projects, events, and community engagement.
- Draft copy for posts and submit for approval.
- Provocatively find opportunities to create conversations across social channels.
- Ensure all social media content, assets and deliverables are met as per schedules.
- Suggest graphics and concepts for social media posts.
Job Requirements
- Immersion in and passion within South Asian cultures, having roots within these communities.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about social media and digital platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok
- Basic copywriting skills.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and able to work well under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
- Attention to deal, particularly when proofreading copy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-design skills(Desirable)
- Experience of film/audio/photo editing(Desirable)
- Experience of using CRM systems such as Mailchimp (Desirable)
Salary: £25,000 per annum (negotiable on level and experience)Location: Remote (Main head office is in London, but you can be based from anywhere in the UK)
Hours: Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm (Expected to work longer hours or weekends during peak volume times)
