ROLE PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION:

• Own the product lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints, translating them into features and functionality.
• Create and maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams, providing clear and concise requirements, guidance, and support throughout the development process.
• Conduct regular reviews and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly products and documentation.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to fintech and technology.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Continuously gather feedback from users, clients, and internal teams to identify areas for improvement and keep the product roadmap updated.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business & Computing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum of 2 years) as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development methodologies, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Previous experience working with API-driven products and services in the fintech or financial services industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and balance competing priorities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products on time.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and foster positive working relationships.
