Role overview

We’re looking to hire our first dedicated UI and Graphic Designer at Honest, responsible for leading our visual creative efforts across our website, app, ads and everything in between.

In this role, you’ll deliver design assets ranging from website landing pages and app UI, to print ads and packaging designs. Working closely with our Co-founder (who currently leads design) and marketing team, you’ll bring to life our visual identity, working with our brand guidelines and design system to deliver knockout creative

As our UI and Graphic Designer, you’ll be hands-on and involved in every step of bringing our brand to life. That means being the visually creative voice at campaign brainstorms, and leading the way from ideation to execution of design assets. You’ll also get stuck into supporting the wider business on projects as needed.

 

 

In this role, you’ll:

• Raise the bar of our website and app UI to optimise performance and the customer experience, while developing our design system
• Bring to life our visual identity while ensuring high-quality design across every touchpoint
• Work with the wider Marketing team to brainstorm, plan and execute eye-catching campaigns
• Deliver high-quality digital and print design assets, including for the website and app, social media platforms, emails, packaging and print ads
• Work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teams across the business, especially Marketing, Product and Engineering
• Manage your pipeline of requests to meet deadlines and stakeholder briefs
• Keep close tabs on industry trends to make sure our designs feel fresh and a step (or ten) ahead of our competitors

 

About you: 

• You have proven experience designing web and app UI
• You have experience delivering designs across multiple disciplines
• You’re an expert in Figma, prototyping and managing a design system
• You’re proficient in Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• You’re pragmatic and understand that sometimes Canva is the most suitable tool (particularly when supporting the broader marketing team)
• You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and stakeholders on the go
• You have high attention to detail
• You’re no stranger to working autonomously, while seeking out feedback and collaboration to achieve the best outcomes
• You’re always looking to learn and improve your design skills
• You’re organised and know how to set and deliver against expectations

 

Even better if:

• You’ve worked with animations including Lottie files and animations in Figma

 

What you’ll get in return for all your hard work?

Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 per annum
