Overview:

We’re hiring a Web/Graphic Designer as a full-time position for Walker Strategy Co. This role will play a part in client-facing delivery as well as the business social channels, marketing initiatives, products and programs. The web/graphic designer is responsible for all aspects of design from layouts and wireframing to finished websites, website templates, graphics, illustrations, and presentations. This position is vital in 1) delivering compelling, strategic design for our website design clients, 2) providing easy-to-use, beautiful, and effective website templates to our customers, and 3) creating a cohesive brand experience for our prospects, students, and clients. With a focus on quality and accuracy, all designs are meant to increase customer satisfaction and retention.

The design (both graphic and web) should capture the attention of our target audience and be utilized internally to create a premium client experience and externally to deliver effective products and servcies to our clients. For this, you need to have great creative instincts and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, and love a fast paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

This position requires equal parts creativity and strategy. The Web/Graphic Designer will be a self-sufficient, driven team player who will be a contributor to the overall success and growth of our done-with-you and do-it-yourself offers.

This position is a full-time salaried position at $50k-$55k/year. This position is based virtually (work from home).

Who We Are:

Walker Strategy Co. exists to empower therapists—who have for too long been underworked and underpaid—to feel confident in the value they provide and to ultimately design a business that serves both their lives and the lives of their clients.

Our mission is to offer strategy-driven copy, design, and marketing coaching for solo & boutique group practices to effectively + authentically fill their private pay caseloads.

What We Do:

Walker Strategy Co. was founded in 2019 as a way to serve therapists & counselors seeking to grow their own private practices with practical, effective marketing strategies. At the heart of what we do is a belief that clinicians should feel in control of their marketing (and, in turn, their success).

We began by offering done-for-you website copywriting and design services. We’ve supported over 200 therapists 1:1 and our clients have experienced incredible success as a result of our work together.

Our DIY course, The Fill Your Practice Formula, has helped over 1,000 therapists start marketing themselves with confidence through 4 simple, easy-to-implement steps.

In our done-with-you marketing mentorship, Confident Copy, clinicians receive personalized support and feedback on their niche and website in order to attract private pay clients at a premium fee.

In 2022, we launched our Squarespace Website Templates, professionally designed templates specifically for solo and boutique group practices. These alleviate the design and tech difficulties that often keep therapists stuck, helping them launch beautiful, professional websites simply and quickly.

We also manage a lively Facebook Group of over 12,000 therapists.

Why Join Our Team:

FLEXIBLE, VIRTUAL SCHEDULE

The team at Walker Strategy Co. works hard in all areas of our lives, and we know how valuable a flexible schedule can be to allow us to do that. We work together, in our individual home office spaces, very closely via Slack, ClickUp and Zoom meetings. We maintain daily team business hours (and expect you to be online during that time), but allow for a flexible schedule outside of that time period.

CELEBRATION

One of our core values is “Celebrate Often.” We take the time to celebrate our own wins and those of our clients. Success is a big deal to us—not something we think “just happens,” and we acknowledge what it takes to make it happen. You’ll be joining a team that recognizes all your contributions, big and small.

A CAREER PATH

We’re always brainstorming and implementing new ideas that will best serve our clients. Although we’ll expect you to adhere to the roles, responsibilities and systems that enable Walker Strategy Co. to run smoothly, your creativity and initiative will always be welcome and rewarded. Once you’ve mastered the basics, there are plenty of ways you can move up and around within the company.
